Cosy wood cabin found in a secluded and peaceful Yorkshire setting, interrupted only by the grazing cattle or wild birdsong.
The site itself boasts stunning views of the Nidderdale valley. The cabins are secluded and peaceful, interrupted only by the grazing cattle or wild birdsong. By night, a clear sky provides the most amazing view of the starlit sky. On the colder, wilder days our insulated cabins are kept toasty warm with log burners allowing you to hunker down, relax and escape.
The cabins are fitted with a double bed, set of bunk beds, mattress and sheets but we do ask guests to bring their own bedding if using the bunk beds (duvets, sleeping bags) we will provide pillows and bed sheets. Please ensure dirty outdoor footwear is left on the outside porch before entering the cabin, please wear suitable clean footwear for inside the cabins. The cabins do not have en-suite facilities but just a short walk away is the centrally heated amenity building containing wet rooms and a small kitchenette facility where there is running water, a toaster and kettle.
Your cabin also has access to a barbecue, and there are facilities onsite to make your own light breakfast. Please bring your own cool box, charcoal, food, drinks and all the other little extras you would take on a camping trip – the closest shop is several miles away so be sure to bring supplies!
The area is classified as an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with plenty of wild birds of prey, deer, bats and hedgehogs. The site is a short drive from the Nidderdale Way which is a very popular 52-mile circular footpath that encompasses a landscape unchanged in millennia, and outstanding in its natural beauty.
